The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the most prestigious and distinguished departments at Brahma Valley College of Technical Education.

With an approved intake of 180 students, the department consistently operates at full capacity. It is led by a team of 15 enthusiastic and dedicated faculty members who are committed to delivering high-quality education. Their hard work is reflected in outstanding academic results, including 100% pass rates in the final year and approximately 90% in the second year.

Currently, eight faculty members are pursuing postgraduate studies, showcasing a strong culture of continuous professional development. The faculty fosters a nurturing environment, providing both academic and personal support to students. They maintain open communication, actively helping students overcome academic and personal challenges.

The department is equipped with eight state-of-the-art laboratories, including Fluid Mechanics, CNC, Metrology and Quality Control (MQC), and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. Additionally, a well-established workshop situated on a hilltop is outfitted with essential industrial machines such as shapers, lathes, planers, milling machines, and grinders, enabling students to gain valuable hands-on experience.
