About the Civil Engineering Department

The Civil Engineering course commenced in July 2013, and its first academic year is nearing completion.

This course is essential for careers in infrastructure, including bridges, roads, dams, canals, and irrigation. Though the department is relatively new, it is fully equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories such as:

Strength of Materials Lab
Engineering Mechanics Lab
Survey Equipment Lab
Model Room with structural and irrigation models
Fluid Mechanics Lab

All necessary facilities and equipment are in place to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Civil Engineering, particularly useful for construction and fieldwork.

Prof. P.R. Jadhav brings 6 years of combined industrial and teaching experience. Subjects taught include Engineering Graphics, Strength of Materials, Engineering Drawing, and Design of Machines (DOM). He is also proficient in computer applications related to the field.

To ensure student well-being, regular one-on-one and group discussions are held to address both academic and personal challenges. Students are encouraged to openly share their concerns, which are resolved collaboratively.
